I'm so happy to be able to finally post the pictures from Jaynee's bridal shoot! Jaynee and I go back to EFY when we were 16 when we met, and I was so happy when she asked me to take her photos! Jaynee is absolutely gorgeous and is supa coo! She's just an awesome down to earth girl who happens to be beautiful. Enjoy!
The following were taken on my Mamiya 645 medium format film camera (I think they are lovely):
I was so happy to do Jaynee's bridals for her! I just shot hers and her new hubby David's wedding this past weekend and it was beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!

A Day in the Life...
Today I finished up one of my summer photo classes and wanted to share my final project. Our awesome instructor gave us the tip to go and take photos of what you have access to that no one else does...so I chose my sweet brother Brian. Brian is 26 and was born with Fragile X syndrome and Autism. I wanted to show a day in Bri guy's shoes and give people the raw view of someone special to me living with this hardship....
My amazing Dad. He brings Brian to work with him every day and helps him learn and grow in so many ways
He looooves his tapes and has loads of them and organizes them and memorizes them it is absolutely amazing.
Settling in once at home, Bri watching Gilligan's Island, General Conference, and Scooby Doo is part of his day.
Brian's favorite thing in the world is his love of music, he wants to someday conduct the Mormon Tabernacle Choir; he has a special appreciation of music and sounds. These are his "sticks" or batons..one for each hand :)
We love Brian and his sweet spirit and strong love. It is such a joy to have him in my life and it has been hard but so rewarding. I hope for the best with Bri guy..he deserves the world!

California Rollei
Just recently I went to visit my awesome roommate Keoni in California. We played a lot at the beach and took loads of pictures. Here's some fun pictures from my Rolleicord. If you haven't heard me gush about my Rollei, it's a twin lens reflex that was manufactured back in the late 1930's! So it's been really fun learning how to use it!!
Enjoy! :)
Since the Rollei doesn't have a speed driver to wind, it often gets doubley exposed! Kinda fun!

A pretty mistake?
So...recently I've taken a liking to Grandma Rose's film camera from circa 1970. It's straight up all manual which has been exciting to learn on. But apparently I double exposed one specific roll!! This made some pretty interesting images which I cant help but share. So here they are...straight out of the camera and what I think are pretty mistakes!
I just dropped of some film all the way down in Springville to try out another lab for better color and to see the quality (all though I'm no wizard I'm just figuring out how film works!). Hopefully it does a little better than Allen's...!!No offense to all you Allen's lovers out there :)
Love,
Christine
